So I'm almost finished with my first Inga bag...All I have to do is make the straps!!!

I took these at about 3am this morning. Now that I have natural light, when I finish the bag, I'll post a more color-appropriate photo.

I'm excited!

CostumeCat, grannies are versatile, you can do all sorts of things with them. even if they are different sizes, so I wouldnt worry too much. just have fun!

msface, I LOVE those colors. I really like the splashes of yellow in the pattern, its the color that catches my eye the most.

did some catching up last night, not quite there yet. I've got 33% of the squares done for my bag & I've put my afghan project off to the side, and I have a knitted blanket I'm working on for a friend haha, THEN I'll be stash-busting so no more yarn shopping for awhile  Angry  pics up later...i promise

Thank you, ladies! I used peaches n creme from wal-mart. It's only $1.47 per ball! The bag is completed, but my phone is dead. I'll post pics later! I don't plan on lining it for two reasons: the first is that I don't know how to line stuff yet, and the second is because it's already pretty sturdy and the holes are relatively small. Thanks again for the compliments!

Great bag msface!  How big is it?  and how many rounds did you make your squares?  I made an inga bag with 7 rounds and it was enormous!
