OnePinkHippo: I'd lay the bag flat and take it's width and height (to where you'd want the lining to end) measurements. Then, measure across the bottom and divide that distance in half and add it to the height measurement. Adding seam allowances, cut out 2 rectangles, then stitch up the sides, box the bottom corners and hem the top edge. Finally, hand stitch it to the bag... I'd offer to do one for you but I just got the call that my sewing machine is broken beyond repair  Cry
Gotcha.  Wink I might make a practice one from thrift store material before I use my fun rainbow jungle fabric.  Grin

Pfff lady_sepulchre it's not off topic! I want to see the sweaters!

OnePinkHippo, what kind of lining are you wanting to do? it seems to me the easiest lining for an Inga bag and most likely the way I will be lining mine is to cut fabric to fit inside and sew it, drop it in and then whip stitch the top to the outside of the bag. I hope that makes sense.

I tried a lining on a knit bag w/no success...it turned out too small and the sewing part was NOT going to work!!  I do want to make one for my Inga bag this month, though.
I'll be keeping a look-out for what others post w/their hints.  =]

I plan on doing 1 or 2 more rows of blue, and then changing back to yellow.
Its my first granny project, and my first time changing colors.

It looks great!  are you planning on doing a stripe a day, or a round a day?

I managed to complete the slippers for my sister yesterday, and was severely dissatisfied with the result, so I'm making her an Inga bag =). I'm jumping on the bandwagon! Hehe.
