The Granny-A-Day for APRIL is coming along smashingly!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=340946.0

Who wants to granny in MAY? So if you missed the April one or you have a really big project join us in MAY! We will begin May 1st!

This is basically a motivation crochetalong. If you want to work on a granny square, motif, one huge granny square blanket, this is a great way to set aside time everyday to get some serious work completed in an attainable amount of time.

If you are intrested and would like to join we would love to see your work! Post pics of progress and then the finished product! It would be great if everyone could post progress weekly (but not required). At the end of the month we can piece together our work and show off our afghans and Inga bags and whatever else you can come up with to make with nifty grannies!

This one has a ton of different squares (crochet & knit) & some ways to connect them all:

THANKS! I'll be back to making grannies while waiting in line at the bank, but I just might be able to join this time! Smiley

count me in! i have a falling-apart granny square afghan that my recently departed great-grandmother made that i've been meaning to take apart and add to. there are a lot of squares missing, but there are something like 100 2x2" squares, all sewn with thread...so i've wanted to add a row around them for a while and patch up the holes.

this will be the perfect motivation (i hope!)  Tongue

Yes I am in! I wanted to do the april crochet-along, but had too many other projects in the works (who among us in not in the same boat?!)  I still have a bunch of stuff in the works, but hey, what's one more project?!
I can't wait to see everyone's pics!

Ooo, I've been working (slowly) on a granny square mushroom blanket... thing. Like a Mario mushroom. It might be a carpet. Anyway, I need motivation, this might be it!

hmm I might be game.  I was doing the april one but all I did was a huge granny.  Could be fun to try actually doing little squares and sewing them together.

I think I will join in on this one. I'm having a lot of fun watching everyone's progress and I don't want to miss out again. Sad I think I am going to try this pattern and alternate the tree squares with blank ones. I'm excited and can't wait!  Cheesy
