My mom asked me to make her a Birdie Sling for Christmas. Well, I finally managed to finish it around Easter...
She wanted the actual bag a bit shorter than in the original pattern, that's why it looks a little different.



After I finished this one, she asked for another bag for her birthday (which she'll probably get by Christmas Tongue)

Gorgeous@  Love the colors - you did a great job!  I have a hard time sewing for a deadline, too.  But at least you know she'll appreciate it once you're done!
