Great package! I especially love that chicken! Smiley I started collecting chickens for my kitchen about 20 years ago. And I know that sounds "country" but I have a really good mix of styles so it's more eclectic than country. Unfortunately, I don't have the space to display all of them now... someday...  I should totally make myself one of those felted ones. I'm sure I could squeeze her in Cheesy

That chicken is totally adorable!  I want to learn how to felt, I don't know why I find it so intimidating.  I have to learn though so that I can make these for my sister's upcoming baby:

Those little elf booties are ADORABLE, murbeck. I've been knitting for ages but I've never actually felted anything. I think you just pretty much knit something big and then put it in the washing machine. I'm oversimplifying I'm sure Smiley.

I am SO SO SO excited to get home from work today and see if there is a package waiting for me!! I'm absolutely certain that I'll love whatever you sent.

Hi everyone, I'm home from vacation and posting pics of what I sent to MISS BARBARA.  I copied what she wrote in her post and added the pics! Enjoy.

I received from Sejimara!  Unfortunately, I have great difficulty posting photos to Craftster, so, fortunately, Sejimara has agreed to.  However, I wanted to post a list of the items I received.  Here goes:
1)  For BUTTON DAY-An AWESOME embroidery hoop (which was colored ORANGE-thanks Sejimara!), which framed some interesting paisley/flower print fabric that Sejimara embellished with some different style/color buttons and sewed onto the fabric itself, which added even more interest.  It's hanging right above my computer!

2)  For EAT WHAT YOU WANT DAY-A peach colored set of magnets that had different line drawings of food/drinks/desserts on them!  They are now decorating my metal filing cabinet at school.

3  For NATIONAL SMILE DAY-A lime green tote bag with a series of four, very silly, smiley faces in a row on it.  It's holding one of my sewing projects right now.  Thanks!

You did a great job describing everything.  Can't wait to get my package, should be really soon (gonna check that DC# right now) Grin  Thanks for being a great swap partner!

oooh i love those magnets!!

its actually even easier, you knit the little pieces, sew it together so you have a big floppy chicken, fill your sink with warm water, stick the chicken in and basically agitate it to death, just rub it and smash it until it shrinks up and you cant see clearly defined stitches!
