Melly and Me - Dee Dee Dolphin (aka Big Mama Whale)

I just finished this cute little Dolphin by Melly and me for my son.  Her name is Dee Dee but my son calls her "Big Mama Whale."



I used some nice fourth of july fabric I had left over from last year and fleece for her eyes.  I ended up gluing on the eyes with fabric glue, as I forgot to sew them on when I was putting her together.

This is an easy and fun pattern to make - the whole thing took less than two hours.  A lot of kids I know will be getting one .

I've been thinking about making my girls some animals but can't get up the courage to do it. Yours looks so nice, just a question though, is the top fin supposed to face the other way?

I just saw what you meant about the fin, and you are right - it should be facing the other way .

No, I didn't make the pattern - but wish I did!  This is by Melly and Me, they are Australian designers (sisters).  If you google Melly and Me I'm sure you can find stores that sell their patterns.
