I've had a really productive weekend crafting-wise, which feels great! Yesterday I made a template for small gift boxes. I was aiming for a pyramid box at first, but I think this turned out better.

EDIT:
This is what they look like flat (of course, this is two boxes on top of one another, but I hope you get the idea):

I would love to do a personal swap with these boxes if any of you are interested. PM me if that is the case Smiley

Better than a pyramid shape for sure. The papers you used look very nice.

Thank you Smiley Yes I like this shape much much better too. And I like the fact that they are made without any glue and no waste paper.  Grin

Definitely less boring than a plain old white gift box. Nice job!

Thank you Smiley

I love that brown paper with the flowers! I only had that one piece though Sad I'll have to go back to the store to see if they've got more...

I haven't decided what to put in it yet... I just liked the idea of making the boxes ^^ And I will be making more. It was so much fun! Next step is trying to make them larger. Smiley I think the above pictured size is perfect for small jewellery such as earrings and rings though (it is approx. 3 x 3 inches/8 x 8 cm wide and 2.4 inches/6 cm high).

They are super cute!  I, too, would be interested to know more about how they are made.  For example, what do they look like flat?
