They look like the old crocheted rag rugs.  They're beautiful.  I'd make them into rugs or wall hangings.  Your colour choices would make any wall into a work of art.  Bravo!

I have a braided rag rug I made a few years ago that didn't turn out so well, so eventually I will take it apart and use the strips to make a coiled rug using this technique. It's going to be a massive project but I think it will be worth the work!
