Both sides of the card are the same as used it Shindig. Only difference is their cards were metal.

And the fronts of the cards didn't have cartoon fruits stuck on top Cheesy They would have been written in in Mandarin instead - I just wasn't willing to learn. And the cute pictures would make it easier to play.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

This is absolutely amazing! I am super impressed with your attention to detail and the amount of work that was put into these.

This is awesome! I have a weakness for playing cards, especially ones that are unique and have been handmade. How did you keep them from curling up due to the moisture, though? Did you keep a weight on them while they were drying?

They never curled. It's just two pieces of paper stuck onto a playing card with a gluestick.

Oh, ok. See I always use Mod Podge, so it has a lot of moisture, and my paper always buckles. Gluesticks are a lot drier, so that makes sense.

Gah! That's one of the best episodes--those cards look awesome!! Joss Whedon's propmaker would be astounded!
