Post tutorials or links to tutorials to see if anyone is interested in Sewalonging with you.

There are 3 or 4 tutorials at www.showstudio.com and another craftster's site: www.fitzpatterns.co m has several fashionable patterns.

See my website for my products (will post to anywhere in UK at cost of postage and packaging). It is a little out of date due to a server crash. Please email me if you want a custom order

yes, please do post more links. That was the point of this thread. There are loads of tutorials on this site alone. Links to those would be great. Smiley

Not necessarily of interest to everyone, but I'm making quite a bit of LARP (Live Action Roleplay, like re-enactment/Ren faire) stuff, so here are some links:

Mens shirt:
www.reddawn.net/costume/shirt.htm

Chemise/wench/peasant blouse:
www.reddawn.net/costume/chemise.htm
This one is a very quick make - I finished it in about 2 hours.  It uses the measurements from the mens shirt, but I modified it to make it shorter.  I used a 120cm square of fabric, as all my pattern pieces ended up being 60cm square.

There are other Reenactment style patters on this site.

The following patterns were all reccommended to me by a friend who has used them successfully:

Semi-circular cloak, like the ones from Lord of the Rings:
http://www.alleycatscratch.com/lotr/Things/FCloak/FCloak_pattern.htm

Corset pattern drafting instructions, made to suit your measurements:
http://costume.dm.net/custompat/

To turn this into a bodice follow the directions at:
http://costume.dm.net/kirtlepat/

I'm intending on making the cloak this week, and I've made the chemise, so feel free to PM me if you get stuck on either, though they are quite straight forward!
