My epic masterpiece is complete! Giant Lego Man*MASSIVE AMOUNT OF PICTURES!!*

Quick backstory before I go onto the ridiculous amount of photos.
About a year ago I started this project. My husband requested I crochet him a huge Lego guy. I got bored of him after I made the head and the body. I stuck him into the closet until about a week ago. My husband took him out of the closet and handed him to me, which was his very subtle way of saying "FINISH THIS NOW!!!" So, a week later, many calluses and yarn burns later, he's complete.

He stands 35 inches tall. I used a size K hook, and super chunky Hometown USA Wal-Mart yarn. I wrote down the pattern and sometime, eventually, I will make sense of my terrible chicken scratch.

The body and legs are reinforced with massive amounts of fun foam. The hands are kept in shape due to heavy duty galvonized wire. He also has cardboard in his feet, alone with lots of poly pellets to weigh him down. There's a dowel in his head, and even more in his legs. He does actually stand up on his own.

OMG, that's insane, and awesome and amazing! It's completely mad to make a giant Lego man, then to make him from crochet... You did a really good job, he's perfect - your husband owes you, big time!

Yes, my husband does love him. I've already made him buy me lunch, and I plan on him owing me for a while. lol.

And while I was at Joann's purchasing mass amounts of fun foam, the cashier asked me what I was making. When I told her, she also looked at me like I was completely mad. lol!
