Wow. That LEGOman is H-U-G-E!
I can't imagine how much work that was. Respect for all the time you put into it!
And of course he just looks great. How did you do his legs? Sewing squares together or different?
His legs were actually probably the trickiest part for me. I sat down and sketched out about 15 different ways I could do them. In the end, I went with what I thought was the easiest. I basically crocheted 4 sides-each side consisted of a circle with a large rectangle coming off of it. Then I did another little rectangle to sew on as the foot. Then, after all of those were done, I did 1 giant strip of that resembled a stiff scarf, and sewed that to the middle of them. Does any of that make sense?? lol. I believe it also took about 6 skeins of yarn just for the legs alone.
And that you so much. As I was finishing it up, I even told my husband that I really should have clocked in how much time I was putting into it. There were quite a few days in a row that I think I put about 6-8 hours a day into it.

LOVE! I think I would seriously consider treating this 'little' darling like a toddler. Buckling in a seatbelt, riding in a cart, pushing on kiddie swings at the park....just to see the reaction. Too awesome for words.
Bravo!

You don't have children do you? lol Time to get making some, he needs a hobby! lol
Just teasing!
You should make the Darth Vader helmet and cloak for him with a light saber!
I think I'm going to keep my eye out for yellow yarn and wait patiently for your tutorial so I can make one of these guys for my 19yr old son as a Christmas present!
Great job!

I was thinking an assortment of snap on hair, hats and helmets - I'm sure you have plenty of time for that kind of thing - right? LOL - this is
THE
most amazing thing and you deserve all the props in the world for the time, effort and creativity you put into him - awesome!!

Again, thank you guys so much for all the wonderful comments. It's really made my week to see all the great thoughts from everyone, especially considering how exhausted I still am just from making him. lol.

I already have quite a few requests for accessories for him, but they will definitely wait for a while. lol. When my hubby and I first met, we would sit and play the Lego Xbox games for hours on end. I don't even like video games, but for some reason, I really love them. We're waiting VERY impatiently for the new Lego Harry Potter.
I believe he first wants me to work on and Indiana Jones hat, bag and whip. However, I definitely see a lightsaber in his future.
