The projects were made for my swap partner in Newbie Swap Round 14 ... and I'm just now getting around to posting!

My partner loves giraffes, so I knew a giraffe was must!

She also loves Star Wars and Harry Potter, so a Chewie pygmy puff seemed just right:

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is another fave of my partner, so I put together some magnetic word poetry (inspired by another post from Craftster) in a metal Star Wars case and a teeny-tiny Marvin amigurumi all packaged in a towel drawstring bag:

Everything was fun to make, and it was so awesome to make a new friend in the process. Smiley

I am loving that chewie plush! He's so cute! And I love the fact that you put the HHGTG stuff in a towel bag, how cool! How tiny is your little Marvin? And the giraffe is just darling. You have some mad amigurumi crocheting skills!

Love, love, love it all!  Your partner so very lucky.
I'm a huge Hitchhiker's fan and think the magnetic poetry is brilliant.  The giraffe is so cute - I would love one for my son.
Thank you for sharing!

Thanks! Marvin is based off the basic pattern from the Creepy Cute Crochet book, so I think he's about 3.5" to 4" tall. The giraffe is from a pattern I purchased off Etsy a couple of years ago - it's super easy to follow!
