I am going to be following this eagerly.
My latest project for myself is a "gratitude project", to be more aware of things I take for granted.
I also want to really start living, not just working, and am planning to travel a lot more.
I try to see the positive in any situation  Grin
I will be staying tuned,
S

I love the idea of a gratitude project! Do you give yourself specific steps or guidelines or anything to focus on?

Well, just in time, got down on the floor with my sister siinger songwriter and made her some wings for her faerie masked ball costume where she is playing tonight. Spent yesterday making the faerie skirt for her, though not perfect, but the first time we have gotten together to work on a project together since she has moved in, and it has been tense around here. This will be a good memory for me.

MareMare this is such a great thread, you're totally right so much moaning, grumbling and thinking woe is me in the world in general, we all have to let off steam sometimes but it wouldn't hurt some people to look at what they have to be grateful for.

Currently working on some hats for my Step Mum who is undergoing Chemo so if anyone has any good links to lightweight hat patterns let me know, she's a fashionable person and everything I've seen online looks like scrubs and who needs that  Roll Eyes

Thought for the day: If you always do what you've always done, then you'll get what you always got.
This weeks act of kindness: picked up someones dropped iPod and currently trying to track down the owner on Craiglist/Kajiji
