I study painting at the Academy of fine arts. Currently I am in the second year and we had a free assignment. Meaning we could do whatever we wanted (paint after a photograph, abstract, we still had a model we could use ...) Since I really like comic books and a lot happened to me lately I decided to make an autobiographical comic book painting. Meaning that I am the only one who fully understands the story. Well if I explain it to other people they get it too.
But because I painted it really fast I still had time before my colleagues would finish I made a second painting. Which I think is even better than the first one.

Anyway here they are:
painting #1 (its called Spring)

and #2 (its called Spring 2.)

Sadly the photos are crappy because I used my mobile phone and the light just isn't right. I will take photos of details and add them later.
They are both quite large (180x130cm) and acrylics on paper.

If any of you have ideas about the story share it with me Smiley Maybe I will even write an essay and tell my version of the story in it.

These are really good. I love the colours. Just one question: is that a halo in the top right panel of #1?
