I love webcomics.  One of the best is definately Kate Beaton's Hark a Vagrant, at www.harkavagrant.com.  Check it out if your day needs some more awesome.

She doesn't have many recurring characters, but one dude who pops up from time to time is the fat pony.  So I embroidered him, using this comic as a basis: http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=211

It's a very simple embroidery, and the fabric somewhat obscures the stitches, but I think it captures the spirit of the fat pony.  May that spirit live in you today.

I have no idea what that webcomic is, but I loooove fat pony! I see what you mean about the fabric, but I kind of like the fact it's not just black on white, and your eyes have to work a bit harder to get all the details. He's very cool indeed Grin

  Smiley This is awesome!
I love Hark a Vagrant. And I loooooove the fat pony.
The embroidery looks great. I like how you used the same colours on the thread as there was on the pattern of the fabric.

I was just able to look at the site (home from web blocking work) and I know the handsome doctor! How funny! If I knew him better, I'd stitch him that for his surgery!
