That's adorable!

If you have not already made this collar to break away if he gets caught in something, please do so!  The ones in the stores have a loop of elastic for escape room.  I know a cat who was hanged to death by someone using a non breakaway collar.

I love your kitty!  Cheesy
Thanks!

the collar is much to big for him, so I think he'd slip out of it before he sufocated to death.  But that is a very good idea for when I make him a leather collar when he's full grown.

And everyone before, thank you som much for the compliments. Grin

Super cute!  I love how if you have other pets play with kitty they won't get hurt from hard spikes.

But sadly I too know a cat that had a collar on that was much too big and a cord got looped around the collar adn the cat couldn't slip out.  So you want something that will break way with their weight a small rubber band or you can order clasps that break away.

I basically googled crocheting videos... the "spikes" are a bobble stitch.  If I could find it again (it disapeared about 2-3weeks after I made it LOL  darn kitty, took it off and hid it on me.... )  I could  have a better look at it, so I could give you more help.  But I'm thinking it is mostly DC's, crochet in the round.  Hopefully that's mildily helpful.

Too cute! I have a 3-legged rescue kitty who is a bit of a hell raiser himself. This would be perfect for him  Grin
