Hi everyone!!! Cheesy

In this past week I have made a few hammocks for 2 new arrivals that will be moving into my house on Friday!!! We are adopting 2 ferrets. yay!! lol So this is what I came up with... (lots of pics)

a pretty blue fleece one..

a close up of the corner...

a red fleece one with old jeans for the others side..

hard to see with the blurry pics but this one is a hunter green flannel with black on the other side...

ok now this was a trial by error first time trying to make project!!! lol I know it could be a tiny bit better and I have a few ideas on the next one that I try to make Wink... but it was my first attempt at making a cube sleeping quarters...

cotton and flannel on the outside...

with fleece on the inside... (hard to tell with it being black LOL)

Most of the materials that I used was excess stuff I had sitting around. So I got my butt in gear and made these for the little ones.

C&C are welcomed...
Thanks for looking!!!  Cheesy Cheesy

These are adorable. Congrats on the ferrets. My guinea pigs would love something like that cube, maybe I'll try it.

Very cool! You've given your ferrets a place to hide all your loose possessions   Wink

We had 3 ferrets when I was a kid, and they hid pounds and pounds of miscellaneous things under my mom's waterbed (brushes, jewelry, food, you name it). When my mom replaced her bed the movers lifted the frame and found 7 years worth or lost goods  Cheesy

Love it! I made a cube for our ratlings (which we no longer have) several years ago and they loved it. One thing that I really appreciated after a while was that I did the outside in a ripstop nylon so it was easy to wipe down (messy little buggers). Your little monsters are well loved already!

YAY! I always love to hear about ferrets and stuff made for them! You did a real good job on those, and I really love the cube. Smiley

great hammocks - i love the reused jeans. i find my old pairs come in really hand for my 2 furballs, as it's so durable. i usually just leave them as they are or sew them into one huge tunnel tho - i'll never get over how exciting it can be  for them Cheesy

be sure to post pics of your new arrivals when you get them!
