I use t-shirt transfers in mine and since all of the fabrics I use are ironable I just iron the transfer directly onto the item I made... this takes out the need for twill tape.
Just a tip...

if you do decide to do a tag, you can avoid paying so much for printable fabric...just cut muslin to 8 1/2 by 11 and lightly glue stick it to a sheet of paper, it goes straight through and the paper just pulls off!
