Usually the questionairre asks if you are willing to ship overseas.  Many times there can be a couple of swappers from the same country so they can be partnered with each other to save on their shipping costs.

I agree: I already sent in my questionaire but I'd rather not send overseas (I just did for my last swap).

Also, I have a question: I have some ribbon yarn that I DID buy at the dollar store but won't be on my receipt. Can I still use it if I count it into my $10 limit? (It's stash, but like I said, I bought a bunch at the dollar store once.)

I may have cheated. I'm in the US but I already sent my questionnaire. But I'm SO looking forward to this one. There's the greatest dollar store ever in Portland so I'm going to have a ball in there!

I had purchased a few $1.00 store items in anticipation of the last $1.00 store swap.  Naturally, I too, don't have the receipt as it was a while ago.  I don't know how it happened, but I missed the deadline, thinking I might use it next time around.  I'm not sure if I would be using it this time around or not, but I might consider it however probably no more than 2 of the items.  Would that meet with the guidelines?

yes, and i feel i just need to say again, i'm totally winging it! not that the rules don't matter, but i think that is definitely not something i would get 'het up' about!

i'm sure we all expect to use a certain amount of stash, but if say it was a painted birdhouse, the stash element would be the paint, not the birdhouse! Cheesy

I've been a total swapaholic lately. Signing up for more than one swap at a time is unheard of for me, and I'm in 3 right now, but I really want to do this one too... Hmm, dare I make it 4? what to do...
