Hi! I've been following this swap from the beginning. Just wanted to say that I'd really love to try a stitchalong. I'm so inspired by all the great results - you guys are amazing!

A stitchalong is a great idea! One of the great advantages over a swap is that we can post photos of our work in progress, to solicit ideas, calm fears, give inspiration, etc.

I'd certainly be part of that!

Whats a stitchalong? c:

It's a thread where we are all making a similar thing (in this case the similarity is it being gibbous inspired) and show each other pictures of the process, etc. Generally anyone can join in at any time and there is no deadline to finish so you can go at your own pace. Go over and have a look.

ORGANIZATIONAL NOTE:

Swap angels are assigned to little miss celia and nikolelily as per swap moderators guidance. They will have 3 weeks to craft an item and send, so we are still going to see more fabulous items in the threads.

The swappers with angels are likely to still receive from original partners, but  those partners will have to work out arrangements with the swap moderators to have the negative feedback removed.

I appreciate all of those that have sent on time, and all of the replacement partners and angels who have stepped up and especially Woodland Faerie for doing this. She took care of the majority of work prior to losing touch with us. Our thoughts are with you now.

Yes, let's hear it for Woodland_Faerie for getting this going. I hope she's okay, whatever happens. I miss her crazy faerie energy! But I think we all have to be very glad to have had such a capable co-organizer to hold it all together. Terri, without you this could have been a complete disaster, and instead it was a very successful swap. Thanks, so much for all your hard work!
