Awesome! Can't wait to see all the goodness start to appear...

Personal swaps... Would love to trade sewn stuff for some cool hand-carved stamps.

I got a great package from mandys08 earlier today! She incorporated my nerdy love of languages with my nerdy love of folklore and movie monsters

First, a disturbingly cute plush kaiju (Japanese movie monster) to add to my growing collection of disturbingly cute plush monsters:

I might have to make him a mini-Tokyo to stomp around in.

Next, a frame with the Latin quote 'Dux Femina Facti' (the woman was the leader of the dead) in it.  She picked that quote to match my love of Baba Yaga, the Slavic folklore witch, and decorated the frame with black and white pictures of peoples bodies. For some reason, it doesn't even look creepy in the slightest to me:

Part of the frame came loose on the ride over, but I'll be able to fix it.

Last a really cool door hanger that spells out 'Rawr' in American sign language.

This is the only pic I could get before my camera died, but I took a picture on another camera that shows the letters better, hopefully I'll be able to upload that later.

I got my wonderful package today from bminks
a charm braclet with pacman, mario mushroom, gt, and wonderwoman charms

a wonderful yoda knitted hotpad. i will have to watch this  one to make sure nobody sneaks away with it. it is so cute.

and mug with rock paper scissors lizard spock on it with some dunkin donuts coffee. we do have some dunkin donuts down here, but its pretty much considered a crime to go anywhere other than krispy kreme.

Thanks again
