Take a look at my photos - should I create a light box for my products?

I think if you have the time/money/patience to make one it can only help.

Do you have Photoshop or something similar? You wouldn't need to work with a lightbox if you have that!

I have GIMP.  I basically know how to manipulate sizes/types but not anything else.

I don't think a lightbox is absolutely necessary, but like jungrrl said, if you're willing to devote time and money to it then it can only help. Most of your stuff doesn't have TOO much dimensionality to it - do you have access to a scanner? That may also be a cheaper alternative!

I know this wasn't your question, but $3 for a hand-carved stamp?!? that seems outrageously low to me!

I agree! The prices are much to low for the work you do! those are really amazing! Even my boyfriend said so! LOL That means alot coming from him ^^. I think the pics are bright enough, honestly. I think at this point, ESP with such a low price point, I wouldn't waste money on a light box.

Take the time to make the light box. it's easier to take one good picture than to spend hours on photoshop making a mediocre one look better.
