BG sure was spoiled. Unicorns! What was your theme?

Who wants free handspun yarn?! The Sew mama sew blog is having a giveaway day and I didn't really get in on it, so I'm having my own unofficial giveaway at justsomeboobs.blogs pot.com.

I received my MYB from rock on a while ago, but haven't had a chance to post it until now.  She picked 2 of my themes, Hello Kitty and Care bears.  I LOVE everything she sent, and so does my daughter!

On with the Pics!!!

Here it is in the box Smiley

Here are the patterns she sent me

Here is my little minion unwrapping the ball.  She had so much fun unwrapping while I wound the yarn

the first thing she came to!  A new crochet hook!!

It took us a while to unwrap everything so here's the group shot of everything!

Some care bear magnets and fabric

Some of the Hello kitty stuff she sent.  She made some ribbon book marks which I love and have them in a couple books right now

Here's some of the other stuff, she even made me a knitted hello kitty doll, which is so cute

And one of my favorites, a hello kitty wash cloth!

Thank you so much Rockon for everything.  We are going to enjoy it a lot!!

I've never really understood the whole Hello Kitty thing, but that was a pretty sweet ball. I really like the knit HK! Sometimes I wish I could knit, but then I regain consciousness.

I have a problem. Slingmomma sent me, in her awesome package, 4 balls of 4 strand yarn. 2 have purple purple  BLUE and brown, and the other 2 have purple purple PINK and brown. I started one of the patterns she sent me with the PINK and half way through the first ball the PINK turned WHITE. I switched ot he other ball, but now I'm almost done with it and I know I could finish with the rest of the WHITE ball, but I don't know if that would look funny. It's a bolero done in rounds and the last few round make it kind of frilly (!!!) so mostly if I did do it just the frills would be done with the WHITE. Any suggestions?

Awesome goodies in that ball!!

I still can't believe that darn yarn did that! I'm sorry about that! I think that if the the frills are in the white that it will look ok. It will almost seem like you did it on purpose!

So much awesomeness in one gallery!!!  MYBs are always just so fun and amazing!

I worked up the pattern that glambastard sent me last weekend:

I LOVE it.  You can't really tell in this picture, but the purse is huge and I love big bags.  I plan on lining it and adding a handle using black and white polka dot fabric, but with my wedding in one week and moving not too far after that I'm afraid that finishing the last bits of the purse probably won't happen too soon.  I WILL finish it though, it is far too cute not to.  Thanks glambastard for the awesome yarn and awesome pattern!!!  I am definitely planning on making the robot you sent me too, but again time is a little constrained right now......

wow, I love the carebear stuff, so cute  Cheesy

That purse turned out really well zkatom. I started my Elton Sheep crochet pattern the other day and have unraveled it three timed due to ocd (the loops werent the right size) I took it with me to do while waiting for my xrays today and kept getting asked what I was knitting  Roll Eyes
