I bought this dodgy red(shade is more "tomato soupy" in real life) hoody off the sale rail in Tesco for a few quid.

After badly unpicking and ripping off the original cheesy motif (sorry, no before pic), I covered up the resulting mess Tongue with a panel cut from an old t-shirt and set to stitching on this big old sea monster.

I sketched him out roughly on freezer paper ironed it on, then stitched through it before ripping it all off and adding the detail freehand.

The design goes over the panels edges 'cause I never was the kinda kid to colour inside the lines and I think it looks cooler that way!

I'm really happy with the way it turned out and I've been wearing it loads Grin
