Of course I would wear this to GLAM up the grocery store!  Cheesy

Ok lovely sewing curvacious people....here is the wrap dress by Burda in leopard (what else for me?) knit.

Only thing different from design is that I did not split the sleeves. I managed to cut the shoulders and neck out a size smaller than the waist and the skirt...so as to fit my pear shape.

I think it turned out pretty good...except the ties end up in the back instead of the front, they must think plus size women needed shorter ties LOL---- NOT!

But this pattern was a COMPLETE HEAD SCRATCH-ER!!!!! I spent loads of time figuring this darn thing out and I consider myself an intermediate seamstress!
And my machine ate this SEVERAL times  Cheesy  Cheesy  I had to completely take apart the machine on the last seam to get the dress out! My butter knife got some good use yesterday!

doesn't leopard look great with the red hair? It's hard to see with the print but check out the rouching on the kimono sleeves...that is the whole reason I wanted this dress....it has kind of a 40s vibe going with the shoulders and sleeves.

Red would be fabulous!  I have a pair of leopard and red shoes that I have just about worn out!

I don't think I have ever made myself a belt, but it can't be that hard!  hmmm...I think I might have to do that!
