I don't remember how I found the pattern for this dishcloth, but I'd been holding on to it for about a year. I stitched it up over a couple weeks, using Lion Brand cotton yarn.

My kitchen is all black and red, and I thought this would make a perfect addition. At first I believed I really would use it as a dishcloth to do the dishes...but I still can't bring myself to do it! So I added a loop and made it into a potholder, and now I can use it without feeling like I'm ruining it.

Being somewhat obsessed with skulls.....and knitting.....I love love LOVE it. I agree, I don't think I would have been able to sacrifice it to dirty dishes. Maybe treat yourself and use it as a face cloth if you make another?

this is cute.. it reminds me of one of those toys that have like.. nails.. and a glass/plastic thing.. and you can like push your hand through and see it in 3d on the other side.. i probably sound like i'm making no sense at all. haha.

mnmcoffee: I totally know what you're talking about! I used to love pushing my face up against them when I was a kid. This cloth does look a bit like the result of one.

skuldintape: Face cloth! good idea! I have some white cotton that I think needs to be made into a skully cloth...
