Favorite Color Rnd 3 Gallery!

   HOLY CANNOLI!  I received from my partner, ScotSkipper today, and WOW!!!!!  I have great difficulty posting photos to Craftster, so ScotSkipper has graciously agreed to do so, however, I wanted to post a list of the awesomeness she has sent me!  Here goes:
1)  A most georgous (silk) scarf that morphs from orange to rust to yellow.  Beautiful!
2)  These little plastic orange (like the fruit) thingys that will be good for a project. 
3)  A very interesting patterned scarf that looks like it was made from recycling a sweater!  It's cut into square shapes, connected at the corners, to make a unique scarf!
4)  A curly scarf (knitted ?)  out of her own hand dyed yarn!  OMG!
5)  A skein of the above mentioned yarn.  This will have to be used for somethng very special!
6)  Ok...you are just going to be blown away by my partner's ability to recycle...I am!  This item is an orange sweatshirt, with a felted orange on it, complete with the stem and leaves.  When I looked inside the shirt to see how she attached it, she had used a Halloween sweatshirt and just put the orange over it.  How crafty!

7)  An orange shirt, embellished with fabric ScotSkipper found that was interesting-and has frogs on it!-you are a talented sewer!-and also put pockets on it in the front with the same fabric!
  Some ORANGE sunglasses!
9)  A LADYBUG BAG-no, not orange, but my partner knows what I like!

I also got a suncatcher that my puppy got ahold of when I was in the shower this morning.  I didn't know she could reach it where I put it in the window, but she did.  She pulled some of the curls out, but I'm going to fix it.  It makes the most brilliant reflections on the wall.

The yarn is lion brand homespun in saffron. It's such a pretty color I think... If you're interested the pattern I used was "Lap Blanket" by Alicia Bergin in her "Crochet to Go" pattern collection. I bought the box set at Borders for $2 the other day and there are some really great patterns in there.

I received an awesome package from Lady_sepulchre yesterday!  Thank you so much!  I love my new green treasures!  Look out guys, this is going to be a pic heavy post.  I guess I'll go largest to smallest starting with the most adorable amigurumi dragon ever!

Next is a beaded jar.  It's for my paint brushes 

Here's a close up of the bead work.  Check out how intricate this is.  Lady_sepulchre must have a very steady hand.

And here we have a lovely dreamcatcher which includes a feather from her dove.  Here it is in the shade.

And finally, a very pretty necklace, which I am going to wear as soon as I have an occasion to go out.  She definitely picked up on my love of emeralds.

I feel lucky to have such a thoughtful and talented partner.  Now I just hope she will like what I made for her.
