this looks really couture - great sewing job on your mum's part!
i wondered, was it hard to de-grease / de-spicy the insides of the bags?  i was going to craft something out of popcorn bags lately, and i couldn't get them clean enough.  maybe i just didn't wash them enough times...

I had a craving for Doritos this morning and thought of you and your dress. You should totally contact the Frito-Lay company and send them a pic of you in your dress. You could be their next advertising compaign Cheesy Great job on the dress and kudos for doing something different Smiley

Well Dorito bags are aluminum-type foil stuffs so all I had to do was wipe a damp sponge across it and it was good enough to go.

I'm shocked that I missed this. The zig-zag rick-rack straps and a little something extra. Very daring dress.

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

Very cool!  Is that Eureka Springs?

Nope, Branson Landing in...Branson, Missouri. Prom was held at the Hilton right across the street (and they had really amazing cake...like, of the gods!)

My bad, I didn't realize I wrote Eureka Springs, lol.

You look adorable! I like this dress very much. If I had the guts to wear it (I don't usually like to call attention to myself) I would totally try to make something like that.
