I have been sewing this dress for the past 2 weeks and I am so so so happy that it is finished! I have been imagining wearing it for so long now and I have so many outfit ideas in mind. After having great success with my first 2 Colette Patterns (Beignet and Eclair) I just could not resist buying a few more. I now have Macaron, Parfait and Ceylon. The first I chose to make was Parfait. I made it up in purple corduroy because I wanted it to be a winter version.

This picture does not show the true colour of this dress at all but I couldn't be bothered waiting until tomorrow to take photos with sunlight. It is more of a brighter purple.

I love this dress so much! It was super easy to make and only took me a while because I was trying to fit it in around writing uni assignments and studying. I am definately going to be making a summer version of this dress as well. I highly recommend Colette Patterns to anyone. All the ones I have used have been so easy to put together and have fit perfectly without any adjustments. And no this is not a paid or sponsored advertisement for Colette.

Too cute! The design of the bust is great. I am now going to check out Colette patterns, as I've previously never heard of them...
