hello! man, i haven't posted any projects in forever! {and never in the clothing topic} yay for me!
anyway, i made this dress yesterday:

inspired by all those dresses at target with the knit top, wide elastic waist-band and skirt. i really like it.

i used an xl thrift store shirt to make the top, which i actually never attached to the bottom  Smiley so i guess it's really just a skirt.

a cute, comfy, springy skirt!
comments and critiques encouraged Smiley
and more details on my blog http://angelinaladawn.blogspot.com/2010/04/making-my-own-dress.html
thanks!

I think it looks very cute! Very comfy, and perfect for spring! I'm sure you'll wear it often! Smiley

I really like it!
Just a suggestion, I keep seeing a small additional strip of the waistband on the second layer of the skirt, at your knees. But I like it simple as it is.
