I'm not normally one to dress up animals (except for when the winter winds blow and the dog needs a coat!), but in this case I think putting a bathrobe on my mountain horned dragon for about 20 minutes after bath-time is justified. Tammy (the lizard) is going through her shedding phase and soaking in warm water helps to loosen the dead scales, but keeping in the warmth and humidity by wearing a bathrobe really speeds up the process so she can get back to being her lizardy self sooner! Her robe (more like a vest) is made from fleece and has snaps to hold it shut. Here she is modeling her new after-bath look:

She's gorgeous and what a cute little robe. I love the heart, it matches her eyes.

That is so awesome!
I personally don't see it as being a bathrobe so much as a kick ass robot costume...

Aww, thanks!! Not only is she super cute (and a robot), but she works in rehab centres and childrens hospital wards as a therapy animal, Tammy is pretty much an angel.

what a cute robot-lizard-angel she is in her new bathrobecostume.  Grin
and it's a very clever solution for the problem!

This is too awesome and too cute to be real.  I call your bluff!  This is just a late April Fools joke, isn't it?   Wink  I'm hitting this rocks.

I've never told anyone that they have a cute reptile before, but Tammy is adorable.  I have a slight fear of scaly things, but she is much more approachable with her bathrobe on.  The heart is a good addition so we know her gender, too.  I love that she is a therapy animal.
