I wanted to reuse some jeans that no longer fit and so I just dove in.... I don't have a lot of sewing experience, in fact, I've used my sewing machine three times before this project, just to sew some straight lines (they weren't straight). I cut all the legs and sewed them together then took some canvas-type-cloth I had and made like a mini duvet cover with ties for a chunk of foam for the 85lb pup- Fender. I didn't really measure, kinda eyeballed it but he seems to like it.

Lovely dog, and great bed.  It looks comfy but dog-proof!

I had this idea a few weeks ago!! I never got around to finishing mine though because I was put off by my sewing machine throwing tantrums. Smiley

It looks great! I'm going to HAVE to finish mine now. Good thing it's a long weekend here. Smiley Smiley

Wonderful idea!  I have a bunch of jeans that could be used for this.  My two dogs would use a dog bed, too, I'm sure!
