Catching the Undead Since 2011!

At the request of lo{ve}, one of my fellow Shop the Swappers, I made this hat for her sister's baby, due in July.

The pattern is from Petite Purls Winter 2009 edition -- the Cheery Scrap Cap.  It's an adorable hat and, overall, a fun knit.

I thought the pattern was a little difficult to follow at times.  I'm not sure if it's the combination of late night/early morning knitting, my addled pregnant brain, or unclear directions, but I did end up getting frustrated a couple of times.  Oh, and I'd like to never have to weave in another end, okay?

All it needs now is a good blocking and hopefully, it'll be adorning the head of lo{ve}'s nephew by the end of the year!

Thanks, everyone! The boy's pattern does come in several sizes, including a "child" size which is for a 19" head.  I'm sure with a slightly larger gauge, you could easily make a hat to fit an adult's head!

Hopefully, I'll see an action shot once it's on a baby's head.  If not, I'll just go around in search of an infant to try it out on. Smiley

A2K - I am REALLY not a fast knitter, at all.  I'm slow, slow, slow.  It just so happens that my husband put on a TV series about motorcycles so I wasn't distracted at all! Smiley
