I found this fabulous fabric and just had to make something!  So, I made a tote for queenninjamonkey for her birthday in February!  The inside is lined with a polka dot batik.





Two pockets on this side and a zippered one on the other.

The tote is big enough to hold a beach towel, bathing suits, etc.

I have enough for a little tote for me!!

beautiful fabric and a nice shape of bag to show it off!! i like to make little clutch bags so i find it hard to think of ideas to show off a bigger print, i'll be keeping this style in mind!!

Thanks all!  Yeah--it is hard to figure out what to do with fabrics with large repeats!  I saw a craftster make a lap quilt just using the fabric to show off all the interesting motifs some designer decided to throw into one design! ha ha

It would also make an interesting circle skirt... Smiley
