I used the pattern on knitty.com. The hemp cord was a pain to knit with and I couldn't find the fringe it called for so I made my own with some eyelash yarn.
Here it is:

That looks great! I like your eyelash yarn trim better than the original. It looks kind of like grass so it goes really well with hemp body. It reminds me of a grass skirt.
