I've started to make a collection of Alice in Wonderland themed hoopla's. I fancy making a wall art space for them all in the guest bedroom!  Cheesy

I bought the curtains from eBay years ago when I was young and foolish, ignorant to the treasure that I had found. I chopped them up and made some beautiful handbags and purses and am currently left with all the scraps years later. I'm upset with myself that I didn't keep them intact but I'm trying to make the best of it!

I've made a mixture of straight embroidered into pieces and some are appliqued onto other fabrics, depending on the image really. The original screen print is actually really bad and wonky on the alignment (registration - technical term) of the colours, so it was fun to tidy up some of that with the thread  Tongue

I've tried to practise lots of different stitches as I'm still relatively new to embroidering (only started early this year). Would love to hear comments and feedback!

Great idea and wow yes that is amazing fabric!  I really like them, and the idea of a collection together is lovely.  I think I like the applique ones best, it really adds a dimension and even more whimsy.
