If youve been watching the sew-a-long boards you'll know this jacket. a second batch of us have attempted the dreaded John Galliano jacket. i just finished mine. i made some changes to the detailing (placement of the eyelets and snaps) and also made the long sleeve removable with snaps at the shoulder. i didnt plan on being able to actually WEAR such an avant garde piece but i really think its rockin. check out the sew-a-long boards to see some other craftsters take on the same piece!

IMHO, there is nothing unwearable about this jacket. It is amazing. You totally ROCKED this! Your attention to detail is clearly top nothchand what makes it so beautiful. The structure is fantastic and so it the fabric choice. It looks very Brit-Rock! I love that you made the sleeve removable. It kicks ass both ways. JOB WELLL DONE!

Wow.  I'm amazed.  It looks amazing.  You've put a lot of detail into it, which at the end of the day really is what makes a piece like this spectacular.  Kudos to you superstar!

haha, we JUST got some of this fabric in at my hancocks.  I immediately thought of using it for this jacket, and now I remember why!  I didn't realize it was the exact same fabric until just now.

It turned out awesome, love it! It looks great on you too. I like how you did the removable long sleeve. Great work:) Can't believe that there weren't more replies on this, out of 7,000and some odd views you'd think there would be at least 1,000 replies.
