I received from the most wonderful KAZ today!

Here's a pic of my goodies...a very yummy buttoned cowl (super soft thread!), 2 knitted dishcloths (that I played with to maintain my sanity while my son worked with long division for the first time), 2 wool dryer balls, and 4 pretty blue napkins.



And, she made banks a la Dave Ramsey for my kids! They love them.

Yaaay!  I'm so glad you liked it all.   I've had that yarn forever and couldn't figure out what to do with it.  I hope it keeps you nice and warm all year round!

I loved the bank idea - I saw it in piggy form and tried to recreate.  For those who can't tell, the banks have little cardboard dividers in them that separates the bank into four sections: one for saving, one for spending, one for donating and one for investing.  Not sure if you want to use the investing part, Troublet, but it was such a nifty idea I had to give it a try! 

And your kids are ADORABLE!

Oh yay!  Gotta love reclaimed wool - I'm going to make some for my mom for Mother's Day, I think.

Great stuff, Troublet.  The napkins are beautiful and the dishclothes are my favorite pattern.  They do a great job scrubbing and cleaning up spills and apparantely are great to snuggle with during trying times.  I'll try the whole snuggly dishcloth idea next time I'm doing homework with my girls.  I'm going to have to, eventually, have to figure out how to make wool dryer balls.  There's some time left as hubby just bought dryer sheets from Costco.  So I suppose that buys me a year or two research time

I love that bank idea!!  And that's the first kind of dishcloth I learned how to knit.  Actually, it might have been the first thing I ever learned how to knit.
