Ha Ha!!! i figured out the pics...

So this is my first amigurumi, ive just started chochet-ing (like a week) and what a learning curve! i used some 4 strand (red heart?) yarn, and a size g hook. after a tutorial or two on youtube i made the ball shape, then attatched the ears feet and tail, then decided to stitch on a felt face and inner ears with button eyes. I was going for a piggy, but the rusty colours of the yarn were purr-ing to me... kitty! the kitty looks like hes been in the nip, and is on a midnight freak out! I think im hooked!

Basically, some like felt, some rather make the face as they crochet.

I don't have a nearby store, so I don't do the felt as much. I generally try to embroider the faces on what I make. I have more yarn bits than I do felt! Smiley

I like felt for when my hands get tired and I can't crochet another thing!!    I also embroider faces.  Love your kitty!!

I'm impressed!
I've been crocheting for quite some time (couple years), and I've yet to attempt an ami yet.
I'm going to try, soon, though, and we'll see what comes out Cheesy
