I have posted on here a few times...but basically, I have been teaching myself to crochet via the internet.  I LOVE it!!!

Here a few of the things that I have made for swaps recently.

This is for a dog swap (also my first time not using a pattern)

This is my first 'real' amigurumi...I am really happy with the way it turned out and was almost sad too send it away.

Finally my first crocheted hat!

I am finding crocheting to be totally addicting!  I just made a bunny, am working on a monkey and then another bunny for the kiddos for Easter.

Thank you!   I really do like to do it.

Reading patterns took me a little while too...actually learning to make a magic ring took a whole day, but once I had it, I had it.

These are great.. I love the dog coat Smiley
(Just got the dogs shaved and they are looking a bit pathetic)

I love that there are so many gazillions of possibilities with crochet, you made a hat, someone else makes a sphere and I make a bunch of primroses!

Well done on teaching yourself via the internet!

Thank you everyone!

I am having a ball crocheting and love the fact that it is portable...unlike my sewing machine and that there are times when it doesn't take a huge amount of concentration...unlike cross-stitch.

I have several more projects in the works, maybe someday, I will even be able to do it w/o a pattern. Although, that is probably a long way off.  Cheesy
