I'm starting a new series inspired by Pablo Neruda's poems.  I'm trying to exhault the ordinary objects that are so much a part of my daily life.

I hope you enjoy it!

What a wonderful idea and fabulous execution.  Is that seed stitch?  I'm very taken with the vibrancy of this piece.

Thanks!  It's a random stitch I use for painterly work.  It's like seed stitch and long-and-short stitch together.

I love Pablo Neruda and this is absolutely gorgeous! I love the colours and the texture you've created with the stitching. It looks like it could be a painting! Great job C:

I am so in love with this.  Your shading is impeccable. I really like your choice of background fabric, too.

That's beautifully done, and I love the thought behind it!  What else do you have planned for this series?

I'll do a few more pieces to practice my craft.  I have a spoon and scissors planned, but the only criteria I have is that the object be something I use on a daily basis.

Thanks for all of the interest and kind words.  I can't produce drugs and guns every time.  I've got to relax sometimes.
