Real Men Carry A Craft Bag!

Anyone else in the Sacramento area want to get together for craft time Wink I am in Rancho Cordova and have some room if we wanna try to do something once or twice a month and see what happens.

Really think if we can get all kinds of crafters (and/or craftsters) that would be cool. We can do an early evening potluck, we have plenty of things for kids if we wanna do a weekend day type, but let's do something.

I don't really want to throw to many ideas out there just because I don't want to turn anyone off. So I am in Rancho Cordova, I would love to craft with folks and if anyone is interested lets throw some ideas around.

I work in Rancho and a good friend of mine (and avid x-stitcher) lives there.  I would certainly like to take a shot at doing a crafting get-together.  I know it's hard to get people to commit, especially at first, but I'd love to give it a try!  Potlucks are fun too, wine, food and crafts...

So how do I join up? I work in the area but don't live there but I would still love to join. Does the type of craft matter? Thx

Hi! I'm a x-stitcher in Sacramento. I'd love to know more about a craft group!

My buddy I was crafting with retired and moved to Seattle right around the time we were trying to get this together.  Then I didn't get to some of whateverjames' e-mails (dead home comp) and it just sort of fell apart.
If a couple people get this moving again I'd like to join up.  I have a little more time and money than I did back when this thread started too  Smiley
I still work in Rancho and live in CH.  So it sounds like we're all not very far from each other too.

so, i really wanna do a meet up, but i don't have a place to offer for us to get together. i can set it up for us to meet at the library. both sylvan oaks and ranch lib have good community rooms. then we could get together, with smaller type portable crafts and talk about how to continue? any body else have a better idea?

I live/work near Sac State. I like to cross-stitch and crochet.

I am not too familiar with the Rancho Cordova area but I'd be willing to meet up.

Like the idea of Sylvan library!  No hassle for me to get there
