I finished another entry for the 2010 LA County Fair in Pomona
Nightmare Before Christmas Snake Puppet Scarf
100"long x 4 1/2" wide




Free Pattern

Need: H hook
blunt needle
black yarn
orange yarn
I used red heart super saver 1 skein of each

Eyes make 2 (worked in rounds)
w/black sc 4 into ring
2 sc in each sc sl st to beginning fasten off(Cool
w/white 2 sc in each sc (16)
sc around sl st to beginning fasten off(16)
leave long tail for sewing to head

How cool! And thanks for the tute!! I might have to change the colors a bit and make a HP Slytherin snake scarf to wear when the next movie comes out!  Grin   Awesome job and thanks again for sharing your awesome tute!

I hope you'll let us know how you do at the fair! I love my county fair and fear it is going the way of the horse and cart. So happy to see a younger person involved!

I enter so many items into the fair each  year I love it, even if I don't get any ribbons (but I wan them all) My husband even enters the fair t o in latch hook table scaping and x-mas tree decorating

Terrific! I enter a bunch of things, too, as life allows. I always enter crochet and knit stuff, and this year I may enter some canning and seed mosaic stuff, too. I almost always enter a scarf - last year was a roll-up sushi one - and I think this snake may be just perfect for this year. Thanks for the pattern!! I also just found a vintage wire and yarn flower pattern which looks like a lot of fun to do. Our fair is the first week of August, which will come up quickly if I'm not careful. When is your fair?
