I have been trying to use up some of my fabric stash when I have some spare time.. I used Simplicity 2396 that I got at Joann's for $1.  I am actually really happy with how it turned out, other than sewing my button on a bit wonky.  And I know not everyone will love the green lining fabric (or the purple button!) with the pink outside fabric... but I used up some really old scraps in the process so I am thrilled Smiley

The pattern was awesome, but don't try to skip steps.. LOL.  I ripped out a lot of seams due to my desire to get done faster.  Oh well, lesson learned. Smiley

i love this purse! i think green and pink go great together and your green lining really brings out the green in the outer fabric.
