I used this amazing tutorial to make a petbed out of a sidetable

This is the table I used from IKEA


I cut the table down to make it smaller, added feet to the bottom, had a very talented friend make the tops for the posts, screwed and glued it all together and painted it.

Then I cut a cushion out of foam and sewed the cover for it.



And this is the actual recipient, the cat was just testing it out....

So regal!  Great job!  I love the beaded fringe detail to really tie the cushion in with the fou-poster style.

Regal is the word for it. The cat looked mighty comfy in it, too. You may have to make another.

That's awesome! I've seen the tute, but your gorgeous meezer makes me feel like my uncle's lilac, Major, should have one! I hope the recipient is as comfortable on it as your kitty

That is so totally cool!  When I go to yardsales I always see little end tables for dirt cheap.  Im gonna keep my eye out for one with 'dog bed' potental.   Thanks for sharing!
