I think I'm going to start shooting some this weekend. We live in the 'burbs, but I'm close enough to urban and country settings. This weekend we'll be at my folks out in the country Even if my partner doesn't like that sort of thing, I will and I'll enjoy shooting.

Just been stalking investigating some profiles. Is anyone else interested in pics of unusual things, old buildings, creepy stuff?

Old buildings, unusual things, gravestones, things like that - anything with a story!! No skulls or stuff like that...

i love old buildings - i have taken some neat shots of an abandoned barn.  old graveyards are wonderful, too .  I dont find anything creepy about them.  just interesting from an artistic pt of view.

Ooh ooh ooh, There's part of Omaha that is just BEAUTIFUL! I can't think of what it's called though for the life of me! It's the part where there's all the little shops and a brick road...Well, there's more, but that's my favorite

It's the Old Market!  
I definitely plan on getting some pics there, it's an awesome area.  All those old buildings and things going on.  Especially now with the weather warming up and the flower baskets coming out.  


Where I am, I'm close to the Old Market but my house is out in the middle of suburbs and farms so lots of things to get pics of.  I can't wait to get started!  This is going to be so much fun!  Can't wait to see what everyone else takes too.  I love photography and this is the perfect excuse to go out and take some pictures.

Confession....befor e I was approved I used it as an excuse to take my camera with me for a walk around the neighborhood. People often look at me strangely when I stop at random to take pics or carry home interesting finds. What is so strange about an adult who collects stuff?

I was a swap virgin not too long ago, now I am a swap addict, lol.  When I told my sister about swappin' she said, "So it's kinda like pen pals but with crafts?".  That is how I explain it now and people seem to get it.

I wanted to start crafting today but I have to wait until I have the cash to by myself some new batteries. I think I might splurge on payday and get some rechargeable ones.
