I decided to try this out.. it's my first challenge and to tell you the truth it isn't very good IMO... I'm more of a pencil/paint and paper kid of gal.. LOL- I decided to use Veggie pasta and crush it...

Here is the original picture:

I decided I wanted to add a bit more detail... and I'm not sure if I made it better or ruined it to tell the truth... but here we are:

and I couldn't resist.... THE PROUD RECIPIENT!! (who really loves her portrait even if it isn't the best!!)

I agree the crushed pasta was very inventive! It looks abstract, I like it!

Thats so cute! Kids are great! I have 3 and they all love everything I make no matter what. Unless it is bad tasting food ha ha ha!
