Last year in ceramics we had an assignment to make a face mug, mine started as a wanna-be johnny cash then started to morph into this. Then I glazed him wayyy to much which ended up being perfect for my taste, except for the fact that he got stuck to the kiln shelf hah
on to pictures Cheesy

Yeah, this is pretty much awesome. I love how original it is, and how fluid everything looks. Your great contours work really well with the way the glaze flowed. I'd love to have a mug like that! Is it food-safe glaze? If I were you I would totally use it to drink everything from.

Actually It is food safe but the texture to me is off putting. Like you put your mouth on it and its all kinds of nasty ahhahah along with the fact that it weights a ton! Cheesy But I could just walk around carrying it like I do it all the time.

I love this! Even though it stuck to the kiln shelf, the way the glaze ran and pooled at the bottom really adds to the overall piece Cheesy

Thank goodness they got it of the kiln shelf in one piece!  I really like the way you did the handle.  Cheesy
