Hi Everyone,
My Sister is getting married in May and has asked me to crochet her a shawl/wrap to cover her shoulders in the church. She's 23 so I didn't want to make something that would look old lady-ish on her or that she wouldn't be able to use again, but can't find any patterns online for something like this.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Please help!
Thank you
 Grin

The new Crochet Today has a pattern for a bridal wrap in it. It also has a beautiful headpiece pattern and necklace pattern for a bride as well.

lol that's exactly what I was going to suggest.

It really is a lovely piece! I might crochet it just for fun.

I would also recommend checkign back issues of Interweave Crochet as I remember they've had a few shawls that may work depending on what sort of look your sister is going for.

Since my girls actually nap (knock on wood), I am going to start trying to work off my negative feedback.  Life got hectic with their early arrival.  I apologize for the inconveniences my flaking caused.

The snapdragon shawl is done in worsted weight, so you might be able to finish it more quickly: http://tishrh.blogspot.com/2010/01/rectangle-snapdragon-shawl-pattern.html
She also has a triangular version, too: http://sendingtroopsprayers.bravehost.com/trianglesnapdragon.html

Good luck, and congratulations to your sister!
